Follow the steps below!
1. Grab your Arctic Tale flannel fabrics (we used Retro Blue and Cozy Bears) and cut two (2) mirror sets of your main fabric, lining, and batting.
2. Place your batting on the wrong sides of the outer glove thumb pieces (Template 2 & 3). With the right sides facing, sew with a ¼" seam allowance along the curved thumb and palm only.
3. Place the top and bottom outer glove pieces together (Template 1, Template 2 + 3 unit), right sides facing. Pin down and sew!
4. Sew your lining fabrics together with a ¼" seam allowance.
5. Make small clips around the curved seam allowances for all pieces, careful not to cut the stitch lines.
6. Turn the lining piece right side out and insert it inside the outer mitten.
7. Stitch around the cuff opening with a ¼" allowance, leaving a big gap for turning.
8. Turn the mitten right side out (between the fabrics, not batting!) and push the lining inside.
9. Edge stitch all around the opening, closing the gap we used for turning inside out. Add a blanket stitch around the cuff for that extra special detail.
10. Repeat these steps for the left mitten.
11. Put your mittens on and keep those paws warm!
