Quilting is more than piecing fabrics together to create a quilt. It’s about a community of creatives sharing a beloved past time of fabric play and design. What once started as a practical way to turn fabrics into garments to keep us warm and protect us has turned into so much more.
Whether you are a part of a quilting guild, or follow pattern and fabric makers on social media for quilting tips and inspiration there is an enormous community of like minded people who share a great passion for this amazing craft. Here at AGF we couldn’t be more proud of the amazing group of women that form the Sewical Bee Collective. Their debut collection GeoBloom showcases prints from each member of the Social Bee Collective. This collection has a good mix of geometric and floral designs with a cheerful color palette. I love the soft colors used that you would find in nature. With refreshing blues, warm pinks and peaches, and delicate purple shades that will have you dreaming of the relaxing accent of lavender.
What I love most about this collection is it is made by quilters for quilters. Each designer has such different styles and backgrounds but all share a passion for quilting which makes this collection come together so beautifully giving us the very best fabrics to quilt with!

It’s really hard to pick a favorite out of the 25 prints offered in this collection but I wanted to put a spotlight on a few prints you will fall in love with.
“Happy Daisy” is such a fun take on a small floral design. Daisies turned horizontally, vertically right side up and upside down creating a circular design which adds just the right amount of movement and geometric modern touch. This print will look amazing in large projects like apparel but also cut up in patchwork designs.
“Sweet Impressions” this tonal design is such a playful yet elegant touch to add to your sewing projects. The warm pink background helps the white organic florals pop off the fabric. A great all over print perfect for patchwork and larger projects such as home decor and apparel.
‘Botanical Tiles’ is such a genius design with its multicolor florals and nature elements stacked and puzzled together to create a title motif. Another great all over print that’s phenomenal for a wide variety of small and large scale sewing projects.
‘Petal Drift’ is the cutest geometric tulip design with just the right amount of negative space to make this print act as a great blender. The small scale design is excellent for fussy cutting and use in small patchwork projects.
